There are two bus terminals in Shinjuku from which services run directly to, and from, Narita Airport and Haneda Airport. One of the terminals is located inside the TOKYU KABUKICHO TOWER building, while the other is the Shinjuku Expressway Bus Terminal. TOKYU KABUKICHO TOWER is on the east side of Seibu-Shinjuku Station, and not that far from Shinjuku Station. The Shinjuku Expressway Bus Terminal is located at the south exit of Shinjuku Station.

TOKYU KABUKICHO TOWER
This bus terminal is in the middle of downtown Shinjuku. Here, passengers can board a direct service to either Narita Airport or Haneda Airport. The bus terminal is on the first floor of TOKYU KABUKICHO TOWER, which is located to the north of Shinjuku Station adjacent to Seibu-Shinjuku Station. There is a waiting area on the second floor.

Shinjuku Expressway Bus Terminal
Located on the third and fourth level of a building adjoining the south exit of Shinjuku Station, this bus terminal is the largest in Japan. There are buses going to Narita Airport and Haneda Airport, as well as highway bus services to numerous destinations around Japan, including Lake Kawaguchi and Mt. Fuji, Hida Takayama, Hakuba, Matsumoto, Kamikochi, Sendai, Osaka, and Fukuoka.
